​Family-Owned Regenerative Food Forest and Farm
Ben Ben Farm grew from a dream of developing a sanctuary to help nurture our community for many generations to come.
Today, that dream has led us to beautiful Fosterdale, NY, where rich agrarian history melds with the spirit of Woodstock and the beautiful Catskill Mountains. Set on 20+ acres of forest, field and century-old orchards, Ben Ben Farm is now open and closer than even in achieving our vision.
Our Culture
We operate on the simple principle of working with nature, not against it; so much of what we do revolves around land stewardship, forest management, and protecting our soil and water.
Permaculture
We use methods like composting, no-dig planting, and crop rotation, which improve soil structure and fertility. These practices boost organic matter, foster biodiversity, and aid in water and nutrient retention.
Silviculture
Our foraging livestock helps preserve biodiversity, enriches soil quality, and supports the health of our forest.
Polyculture
Native polyculture enhances biodiversity, improves soil health, and boosts resilience to pests while supporting local wildlife and plants.
